  • Lucy was amazing, taking on board all my goals and encouraging and motivating me

    I have been going to Lucy’s bootcamp sessions in Victoria Park for years keeping my fitness levels up and meeting some lovely people along the way, but when I got engaged in June 2020 after a lockdown of eating, drinking and no exercise I knew I needed to step up my training! I discussed with Lucy starting some private sessions, every two weeks at first ramping up to weekly as we got closer to the wedding. I wanted to lose the weight I had gained in lockdown, but also feel fitter, stronger and healthier so I felt the best me on my wedding day.

    Lucy was amazing, taking on board all my goals and encouraging and motivating me to stick with the exercises. I lost the weight, but more importantly over the year felt so much stronger. I was gradually lifting heavier weights and my arms felt toned and my core has never been so strong! Lucy knew the parts of my body I was most anxious about and tailored exercises to target those areas to help build my confidence.

    Lucy helped me with my diet too, I am a really fussy eater but with her support was eating salmon by the time of the wedding (a big step for someone who never ate fish!)

    I was so nervous about how I was going to look in my wedding dress and having Lucy support me and reassure me took one less stress away for me.  I would highly recommend Lucy for anyone looking to get fitter, happier and healthier, whatever the end goal!

  • Lucy made me feel comfortable straight away

    *I used to use every excuse to try and get out of doing exercise. I had been working away from home for 3 years, living on hotel food and generally being very lazy. I realised something had to change when my sister was 3 months pregnant and still lighter than me! At first I was nervous, I hated exercising in front of people and felt very self-conscious. But Lucy made me feel comfortable straight away and after a few sessions I instantly started seeing improvements. The sessions that we did together were actually fun, which I wasn’t expecting, and varied enough so that I didn’t get bored and wanted to keep going. Lucy also helped me with food planning which I really enjoyed. After 7 months I had lost a stone, 14 inches and got down to the size 10 I wanted to be for a long time. Without the help and support Lucy gave me I just wouldn’t have got there on my own. My confidence has grown and Lucy has taught me so much about what my body is actually capable of doing. If you are looking to get in to shape and have fun I would highly recommend Lucy and OneLife.

  • I would definitely encourage people of my age to use Gary for personal training

    *I’ve been training with Gary now for a while and when I first started I was quite unsure whether I was doing the right thing, as I’m 61! Gary has been extremely encouraging and supportive. I have trouble with one of my knees so Gary asked me to see a Doctor first to ensure we would not be doing any damage then he adapted the training to suit me. I’m finding it challenging but I also enjoy it too. I would definitely encourage people of my age to use Gary for personal training.
  • I am personally seeing some great results

    Myself and my husband use Lucy and Gary separately to personal traint us. We both get such a good workout from them. We are both motivated from start to finish and in between sessions. I am personally seeing some great results with my body image and getting stronger which is my goal. I love the variety of exercises and session. Highly recommend One Fit Life.

    *I started my training 6 months ago with Lucy in an attempt to tone up for my wedding day. Lucy listened carefully to my goals and tailor made my sessions to work mainly on my arms. Each session is varied and interesting. I have lost inches all over and feel absolutely fantastic, especially on my wedding day. I have chosen to keep up my training after the wedding as Lucy is now training me for my first 10k, which i’m very excited about. All round Lucy has been a fab trainer and I would recommend her to anyone.

    *I have a very busy work schedule that always comes first however I have found Lucy’s approach flexible and willing to accommodate meeting times for our one on one sessions. In addition the sessions are ALWAYS structured and progress is effectively monitored and this is really important to me as I like to see progress made! Really tough/exerting sessions but very rewarding, keep up the good work Lucy!

    *I can’t explain how depressed I felt about my weight before I came to you. After trying slimming world which did not work for me at all I had really given up & my eating was really out of control. I knew I had to do something and the rest is history as they say.     *I spent a lot of time researching personal trainers so that I knew I would get the right one for me and I can say I am glad I took that time and found Lucy. No two sessions were the same so no chance of getting bored, the sessions were hard but manageable leaving me with a real sense of achievement as I worked out doing exercises I would never normally do. I never once felt intimidated which when you are a bit out of shape is important, Lucy is encouraging and will push you knowing you can always do a little bit more.     *Lucy has a very motivated attitude towards helping people to achieve their goals. Her group classes are a healthy mixture of fun and hard graft made up of people of mixed abilities to which Lucy can very easily adapt her sessions to. I felt I could achieve in an environment that supported me rather than hold me back or leave me behind. For once I felt motivated to exercise. The results I have achieved with Lucy, I have never come close to before. After 6 months I had achieved a massive 4 stone weight loss and I had dropped 2 jeans sizes!
